Fish Amok in Banana Leaf
$14.50
Steamed river fish mousse with kroeung, coconut cream and saffron.
Siem Reap, Cambodia
Saffron, lemongrass and garden herbs, cooked the way Cambodian grandmothers have cooked for generations, in a quiet courtyard minutes from Pub Street.
Our story
Saffron Garden began as a family kitchen beside the Siem Reap river. Today it is a candle-lit courtyard restaurant where every dish starts with herbs picked from our own garden and fish from the Tonle Sap.
Our chefs honour classic recipes such as fish amok and beef lok lak, then finish them with saffron, palm sugar and Kampot pepper for a warm, refined taste you will remember.

The fish amok was the best I had in Cambodia. The courtyard at night is simply magical.
